Human Resources

Employees get instant HR answers, while sensitive records remain protected.

People teams answer a remarkably predictable set of questions — leave, benefits, probation, parental policy — and the answer is almost always written in a handbook the employee could not find or did not trust. The hard part is that each answer must be personal without exposing anyone else.

Asking as Employee · Malaysia · Grade 5

How much annual leave can I carry into next year, and does it expire?

You may carry forward up to 8 days, capped at your grade entitlement.1 Carried days expire 31 March.1 Your current balance is 14 days, so up to 8 will roll over automatically on 1 January.2

Identical interface to every other department. Different knowledge, different access rights.

Where the time goes

HR business partners spend their week on handbook lookups instead of the work that actually needs a human.

These are real queries from comparable departments — not prompts written to demo well. If your version of this list looks different, that is the conversation to have.

Where the answers live

Employee handbook Country policy addenda Benefits documentation HRIS entitlements
  • How much carried-forward leave can I take into next year?
  • What is the notice period during probation in my country of employment?
  • What does our medical plan cover for dependants?
  • How does the promotion cycle work, and when is the next one?
Where AIMY applies

What HR puts it to work on.

Not a roadmap — these are the areas this department already has documented, which is what makes them answerable on day one.

  • Leave, benefits, and claims enquiries
  • Employee handbook and HR policies
  • Employment letters and HR templates
  • Recruitment and onboarding guidance
  • Learning and development information
  • Performance and compliance procedures
The boundary that has to hold

You see your own record, never anyone else's

Entitlement questions are answered against the asking employee's own HRIS record. The retrieval layer scopes to the individual, so "how much leave do I have" is personal and "how much leave does she have" simply has no answer.

The boundary is applied when content is retrieved, not by instructing the model to keep a secret — a model told not to reveal something has still been shown it. AIMY Expert works with the access controls you already have in place.

What changes for HR

24/7
answers across time zones
Policy only
company-wide rules, never an individual record
One handbook
the current version, not a colleague's recollection

These are properties of how the deployment works, not projections. Where you want a performance target, we measure your own baseline first and commit against that.

Same corpus, different slice

What HR retrieves, and what it never sees.

Each AI Expert answers from a defined knowledge scope, applied when the content is retrieved. Nothing on the right-hand side reaches the model.

Retrievable for HR

  • Employee handbook
  • Country policy addenda
  • Benefits documentation
  • HRIS entitlements

Withheld at retrieval

  • Colleague records and compensation bands not retrievable
  • Anything HR cannot already open in the source system

Filtered before retrieval, not after generation — withheld content never enters the model context at all.

We will tell you honestly which department gives you the strongest first deployment — sometimes it is not the one with the loudest business case.
